The bartender pickup

There is something aphrodisiac about liquor stores open in the wee hours of the night. Whether grocery stores, gas stations with liquor or plain booze shops, they tend to naturally induce some more partying amongst those who visit. And what better idea than to drink some more when you are already drunk, right?

So how can you use this to your advantage? Simple: Take the girl you are hitting on to one with any of the following tricks:

1) On your way to dropping them off, stop by a store to buy some munchies, invite her in. Pretty soon she'll see some stuff she'll want to consume, whether food or drinks.

2) Before leaving the bar, start a conversation about food, and let her drool over her favorite foods. Then mention that you know a store that's open at this time where you she can get. Then take her to any old liquor store and do the “I sweat I saw it here last month” line.

3) Picking up a bartender? Does she want to party afterwards? Tell her you'll go get some party supplies before the store closes. Go and come back. When the bar closes, you two can head straight to her place or yours. If she says no, guilt her with the “but I thought you said we would party, I even got us a couple of bottle of wine and everything… c'mon baby, one drink just so I don't feel jerked around”

Regardless of where you take her, your attitude should be as upbeat as possible, don't let the night weigh in on her. Think Mardi-gras. Play loud music on the way there, remember your best jokes, and get her yapping about her best stories and favorite wine. Whatever.

Just don't let her bust the “I'm tired, let's call it a night” line.
